Registration Open for Concept Mapping Conference and Training

April 23rd, 2012

Every five years, CSI invites researchers, consultants, evaluators, and practitioners who use the Concept System® to highlight their own work using concept mapping tools and innovations, and learn from the work of others. This year, CSI is hosting its fourth conference, titled "Concept Mapping Research and Applications Advances: Creativity and Context" from July 15-17 at The Allerton Hotel in Chicago, IL. With the double theme of "Creativity and Context," the three-day conference will highlight innovative uses of group concept mapping tools, analyses, and methods, as well as unique ways in which concept mappers adapt the methodology to embrace the context and the people in it.

Conference highlights include:
• The launch of CSI's new CS Global Max©
• Plenary presentations on research and application advances of concept mapping
• New concept mapping benchmarking data
• Functional network analysis with the Concept System®
• Panel discussions with CSI experts and researchers in the field

Another exciting feature of the conference includes open poster sessions! Once registered for the conference, all participants are invited to present in a poster session. The agenda allows participants both to present their work, and view others' work in the field of concept mapping. Following the conference, participants may also attend a special two-day hands-on training at the same location, reviewing the fundamental structures and processes of concept mapping and highlighting advanced research, new participation models, and concept mapping benchmarking for research. The training will feature an intensive session on CS Global Max©.

Early registration discounts, and discounts for attending both the conference and training, are available. For more information and to register, click here or contact Mike Huffman at csiinfo@conceptsystems.com or 607-272-1206.
