Only administrators can save a map. During the Compute Maps step, the administrator explores different map options and saves the “best” map. The map is saved to the database to be access by users later in the Interpret Maps step. A saved map is accessed through the Load Map option.
Note: You must save a map before you can do pattern matching.
To save a map:
1. To save a map you first have to draw it. See Set Map Specifications for how to do that. When you see the map on the screen, from the Draw Maps menu, choose Save Map.
2. If you wish to preseve this map for future review, you need to SAVE the map from the menu. You can only have one saved map at a time.
