The On-Screen sort enables you to visually sort the statements by clicking on them and dragging them into categories. Upon entering the On-screen Sorting module, users see a statements “category” or window.
To create a new category:
1. Click on a statement you wish to place in the new category and drag it off the statement palette, dropping it on some “clear” space.
2. A new category window will open, allowing you to name the category you are starting.
3. Enter a name for the new category.
4. Click on OK. (The statement you dragged is now in the new category.)
5. Click on Cancel to cancel the creation of the new category.
To move a statement from the one category to another:
1. Open the “source” category Window by double-clicking on the category icon. (The main Statements category is the only category that is open initially.)
2. Click on the statement you want to move, and drag it over to the destination category until the category is highlighted. (Destination categories can be in the icon or window state.)
3. Drop or release the statement while category is highlighted. (The statement is now in the category.)
To rename or delete a category:
1. Select the category by clicking on it.
2. From the categories menu, choose Rename category or Delete category.
3. To rename the category, enter the new category name.
To open or minimize all categories:
1. Select the Window-->Open All categories or Window-->Minimize All categories menus.
To complete a sort:
1. Select the Sorting-->Sorting Complete menu. (Administrators only)
Note: Your sorting is automatically saved as you do it.
