Online Webinar
CS Global© Project Set-Up

This new webinar is an orientation to the CS Global© data collection website, in order to help prepare project managers to start their concept mapping projects. At the end of the webinar, participants will know:
- How to set up a CS Global© project
- Key features of the online data collection program, including reports, email, and bulletins
- Where to go to find out more about the CS Global© data collection website and process
Prerequisites for the webinar include: knowledge of the steps involved in a concept mapping project, some familiarity with web-based applications and browsers, and a basic understanding of group process techniques. An Introduction to Concept Mapping for Planning and Evaluation

This introductory two-part webinar series is an interactive overview of the concept mapping methodology and its potential uses. CSI's senior consultants will discuss key principles, decisions, and steps in the engagement of stakeholders in systems-based planning, research, and evaluation. They will also share tips for constructing a methodologically sound project and building process models, logic models, and priority frameworks from the results. Webinar participants will get hands on experience using the CS Core© Software and the CS Global©. This webinar is for beginning concept mappers or as a refresher for those with some concept mapping background. Windows XP or Windows 7 operating system is needed to install and use the software. CS Facilitator Training for Core Applications

Advanced Training Workshop
Data to Meaning: Refining and Enhancing the Concept Mapping Analysis

Sessions will begin at 8:30am on the first day and will conclude by 3:30pm on the last day. This two-day Advanced Training is targeted to those who have previously conducted concept mapping projects. It goes beyond the CS Core Facilitator Training, focusing on skills for data aggregation, analysis, and exportation; and the production of results.
Participants will learn techniques for statement reduction and refinement (i.e. idea synthesis), data input evaluation, and using the concept mapping data in SPSS. In addition, participants will gain experience in choosing the best fitting cluster solution by comparing results and methods on a typical project.
