About Go-Zones
The Go-Zone analysis allows you to look inside each cluster of statements and see the rating data from participants on each idea.

This differs from Pattern Matching, which shows levels of agreement among the rating scales at the cluster level.

The Go-Zone is represented as a simple bivariate plot, divided into 4 quadrants using the axes of the two rating scales for the project.

Each idea that was brainstormed and that was then gathered into a specific cluster with other similar ideas falls into one of the quadrants. For example: high importance/high feasibility, high importance/low feasibility, low importance/high feasibility and low importance/low feasibility.

The Go-Zone analysis can be used to:

  • Identify areas that may warrant concentrated attention
  • Provide strategic possibilities to address gaps
  • Consider the relative value of the ratings together on each specific idea
